ABOUT ITALIA MIA
Professional Legal Guidance for Your Property Investment in Italy
The name Italiamia means "My Italy." It is an expression of the deep connection and pride I feel for my home country—feelings I share with the many who dream of a life under the Italian sun.
Background
I am a legal professional educated in Milan and have spent a significant part of my career handling complex contracts and negotiations within the IT sector. In 2009, I began specializing in the real estate sector, developing deep expertise in the legal and practical pitfalls of the Italian market.
After moving to Norway in 2012, I was frequently contacted by acquaintances and clients seeking advice. Many were struggling with contracts they did not understand or processes that felt overwhelming. I began assisting with contract reviews and legal quality assurance, quickly realizing the immense need for independent, professional consultancy.
From Information Hub to Consultancy
In 2024, I established Italiamia.no as an information point for property buyers. The response was overwhelming. It became clear that many were not just seeking information, but a professional partner who understands both Italian law and the expectations of international buyers.
Today, Italiamia operates as a dedicated consultancy. My goal is not merely to facilitate property finds, but to ensure that your investment is secure, legally sound, and free from future complications.
Local Knowledge – National Network
Born in Lecce (Puglia), I grew up in Piedmont and have lived and worked in Brianza by Lake Como. Through many years as a business manager, I have traveled extensively across Italy. This has provided me with a unique network of technicians, notaries, and local expertise spanning from north to south.
Core Principles of Italiamia
My approach to real estate consultancy rests on three fundamental pillars that ensure the purchasing process remains predictable and accountable:

-
Legal Control: As a legal professional, great emphasis is placed on contractual security. By analyzing legal documents and registered encumbrances before signing, the risk of future disputes or financial surprises is minimized.
-
Independent Representation: Italiamia operates as the buyer's independent representative. The business has no financial ties to Italian real estate agents, developers, or sellers. This ensures objective advice where the sole objective is to safeguard the buyer's interests in encounters with other market participants.
-
Cultural and Linguistic Navigation: A property transaction in Italy involves intricate processes with notaries, technical departments, and municipal authorities. By mastering the languages and understanding the distinct business cultures involved, I translate complex Italian bureaucracy into a transparent and predictable experience for international clients.
